At Federal and State Levels
SafeDose does its part to make sure that the facilities we work with are in full regulatory compliance.
As you would expect in the healthcare field, the pharmacy industry has federally and state-issued licenses. These are upheld by registrations, requirements, and inspections for renewals. And they vary from state to state. Even if a pharmacy is not located in that state, if they deliver there, those state regulations apply. And because SafeDose serves facilities all over the U.S., we are not only federally licensed but also multi-state licensed.
SafeDose currently holds a pharmacy license in 20 states as well as the District of Columbia. Some states require that the Pharmacist-In-Charge also holds a license in that state. So, SafeDose’s own Pharmacist-In-Charge is personally licensed in 10 of those states.
And we bill Medicare in every state in which we hold a license as well as the District of Columbia.
It’s just another part of how SafeDose provides you with peace of mind.
